Hiroshima Kagura is a must-see if you can catch a show while you are here. We always recommend watching this thrilling art form as part of a shrine festival, or out in the countryside, where most Kagura troupes are based. However, Wednesday Night Kagura is the next best thing. The event brings the countryside troupes to the heart of the city, AND provides English subtitles and an English-speaking MC.

We think it is one of the best things you can experience while in Japan.
