Sanfrecce 20th Anniversary Slogan and Emblem

The slogan and a special commemorative emblem for local J League team Sanfrecce’s 20th anniversary season were released yesterday.

The slogan is “WE FIGHT TOGETHER 団結 (Ketsudan)”. Ketsudan means union, meant to symbolize the unity of purpose of new manager Hajime Moriyasu team, the club organization and supporters in going after a title. It’s the fourth year in a row that Sanfrecce have employed the “We Fight Together catchy kanji combination” for a slogan.

The design of the emblem to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the formation of the team in April 1992, when the professional J League first kicked off, was also revealed.

The 2012 J League Season starts March 10.
