Sanfrecce’s soon-to-be-former home gets hot new name

It was recently announced that rom March 1, the old stadium is to be known as 「ホットスタッフフィールド」. We so wanted it to be “Hot Stuff”, but, alas, the naming rights have been bought by recruitment firm “Hot Staff”.

Edion were paying 33 million yen a year to add their name to the stadium, but, with the Sanfrecce move, Hiroshima City government dropped the price to a 5 million minimum and Hot Staff will reportedly be paying 7.2 million a year for the next 6 years.
