Hilton luxury hotel coming to Miyajima-guchi
Hilton has announced that it will open a new luxury hotel in Miyajimaguchi, across from the island of Miyajima and its UNESCO World Heritage Itsukushima Shrine.
Hiroshima Prefecture in 2028.
The luxury LXR Hotel, which will open in 2028, will be built on the site of the former “Resonance Miyajima” resort facility owned by Hiroshima Bank. After Kyoto, it will be the second of Hilton’s luxury brand hotels in Japan.
It is reported that the hotel will have views of the large torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine’s famous torii gate, offering “a luxurious and one-of-a-kind experience by preserving existing traditional architecture and fusing it with contemporary design.”
The hotel will feature approximately 60 guest rooms, villas, food and beverage facilities such as all-day dining and bars, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, a spa, and meeting spaces.
