Tojo Yukasai Fireworks Festival

This summer festival in rural Tojo in Shobara finishes with 1300 fireworks lighting up the surrounding mountains. As well as festival stalls, there are bon dances, music performances and talent shows. The event attracts around 3000 people so it should feel like a nice local affair.
The event will go ahead even if there is light rain, but will be postponed until August 13 in the event of stormy weather.
