River Do! Hiroshima River Festival

River Do! Hiroshima River Festival was a great success is the brainchild and passion project of Magic Island. People came from all over Japan are invited to compete in SUP races and locals are encouraged drop by to cheer them, try out SUP and hang out by the river enjoying food, drinks, music and other activities. It’s a great couple of days.

On the first day, there are SUP races on show in the river in front of the main event area next to the Chuo Park building site all day and a bit of a bossanova festival happening on stage in the afternoon. The mass start for the 12km Hiroshima loop SUP race is at 9:30am on Sunday, followed by various activities and events through the day as the racers come back in.
