Pieces of Peace Hiroshima Craft Exhibition
November 15 - November 17
FreeCrafting the Foundations of Hiroshima’s Recovery: A Celebration of Peace Through Artisanship
If you have enjoyed our series of features on Hiroshima’s Artisans, you will definitely want to check this little exhibition.
A long tradition of craftsmanship played a vital role in Hiroshima’s early recovery. This exhibition shines a light on traditional crafts passed down since the Edo period, offering a chance to rediscover the city’s original beauty. Inspired by this vision, ten local companies steeped in this tradition have come together for a special exhibition to display rare works not usually seen in public.
