This display is the grand finale of beach “town” Kurahashi’s summer festival named for the reconstructed 8th century diplomatic ship that used to carry Japanese envoys to Tang Dynasty China which stands in a maritime museum on the beach.

Access: Take the Kure-Kurahashi Line bus from stand #3 in front of Kure JR Station and get off at the Katsuragahama-Onsenkan stop.
