Akiyoshidai Fireworks Festival

This fireworks and light show in the sky above Akiyoshidai’s limestone karst landscape has 18oo blasts and attracts about 60,000 people.
One draw is that if you arrive during the day, you can escape the heat in the 17°C limestone caves in the national park.
Postponed until the following day in the event of bad weather.

- 43 minutes by bus from JR Shin-yamaguchi Station
- 25 minutes by bus from JR Mine Station
- 10 minutes by car from Akiyoshidai IC on the Ogori-Hagi Highway
