Shukkeien “Light Garden”

Shukkeien Garden is transformed for four nights in August, by interactive projection mapping and illuminated teahouse scenery.

・ Interactive light art — colorful projection mapping around the garden; touching illuminated orbs triggers a projected “fireworks” effect

・ Seifukan teahouse area — the historic Seifukan pavilion and its surroundings wrapped in music and light

・ Front garden lighting — the classic garden view reimagined after dark

・ Lantern workshop — make your own hexagonal “flower-shadow” paper lantern (折り紙 cutwork), then carry it through the illuminated garden

・ Food trucks

Admission: ¥350 general, ¥150 university students, free for 65+ and high-school age and under (65+ need photo ID)
