Nuclear Weapon Abolition and a Sustainable Future

FreeOn August 6th (76th Anniversary of the Atomic Bomb in Hiroshima), UNITAR will hold free online public discussions on partnerships and practices for the abolition of nuclear weapons and a sustainable future. Three Panels will be held from 14:00 to 20:00 JST. Speakers include Izumi Nakamitsu, UN Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for Disarmament, Governor Hidehiko Yuzaki of Hiroshima Prefecture, and Patricia Lewis of Chatham House.
This discussion is co-sponsored by the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA), Hiroshima Prefecture, Hiroshima Organization for Global Peace (HOPe), and the UNITAR Association.
