The “Mi-ageru” (look up) art action”, held every year since 2013, aims to “transform the target” by focusing on the perspective of the people in Hiroshima’s city center who were going about the daily morning activities on August 6, 1945 assembling volunteers on the “T-bridge” which served as the target at which the crew of the Eleanor Gay aimed. At 08:15, the time of the A-bomb’s detonation, participants look up in the direction from which the pika, holding their gaze for 10 minutes.
- 08:00 Assemble on the (“T-bridge”) where the bridge from Peace Memorial Park meets Aioi Bridge, across water from the A-bomb Dome Memorial.

Participants are welcome to head to Hachidori-sha after the event, where you can share your thoughts and impressions and were breakfast is also available.
