Initially supported by crowd-funding, extensive research was undertaken to meticulously recreate pre-war Hiroshima and the nearby port of Kure, where the story of love, loss and hope is set.
To commemorate the 74th anniversary of the A-bombing, boutique cinema Hatchoza will be screening the film with English subtitles during Hiroshima “Peace Week” at 10:35 August 2-8 (Admission ¥1100).
