Hiroshima Port “Dream” Fireworks

6,500 fireworks explode in the summer night sky over Hiroshima Bay in front of Hiroshima Port in Ujina in Hiroshima’s biggest fireworks festival.
Note that the main fireworks viewing area is around the “10,000 Ton Berth” (ichi-man-ton-baasu) cruise ship docking point at Ujinahatoba Park (the one with the “Tower of Paradise” in it).

Traffic and public transport will be very busy so it is recommended to either walk (if you live nearby) or cycle if you can. Alternatively, you can watch the display from afar from the Peace Pagoda or the top of Mt. Ushita.
