Hiroshima Marches for Black Lives

Local group Black Lives Matter Hiroshima has organized a march through Hiroshima city for Sunday, July 5. Participants are asked to meet in Alice Garden (between PARCO and Don Quijote) by 3pm.
Organizers request that participants
- Wear masks
- Refrain from use of abusive language or swear words on any placards
- Stay home if experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms
March Schedule (as of midday July 1)
- 14:30~ Meet at Alice Garden
- 15:00-15:20 Speeches, discussion distribution of masks, water and hand sanitizer.
- 15:20-15:30 Pre-march explanation of mission and goals
- 15:30 March leaves Alice Garden for Peace Memorial Park
- Silence to be observed on entering Peace Memorial Park
- Short speech and vigil in front of the Peace Flame.
