“Hiroshima Appeals” Posters 1983-2024 Free Exhibition

The Hiroshima Appeals Posters project was launched in 1983 as a new campaign aspiring for peace and conveying the spirit of Hiroshima to people all over the world through graphic design.

In addition to presenting all 28 of the Hiroshima Appeals posters dating to the beginning of the project, HMOCA commemorates the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing “by striving to impart the need for each and every person to continue thinking about peace amid the increasingly tense global situation, and the importance of achieving a world without nuclear weapons.”
