Free screening of Japanese animator Renzo Kinoshita’s Pica-don short film in the basement of the East Wing of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
The 7 minute film can be seen below in poor quality – please be advised that although it is animation and made for children, it doesn’t pull any punches in its depictions of the effect of the blast on its victims.
This screening is followed by testimony in English by an A-bomb survivor at 2:30pm on August 5 and at 1pm on August 7.
