Ancient Egypt Exhibition

Unraveling the Mysteries of Ancient Egypt from The Brooklyn Museum at Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum.
Sure to be very well attended (ie, crowded), this exhibition at Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum, located next to Shukkeien Garden, casts light on the life and culture of ancient Egypt through around 150 artifacts on loan from the Brooklyn Museum. Artifacts on display include sculptures, coffins, jewelry, pottery, papyrus, and, of course, mummies; both human and feline.

・ High school and university students 1,200 yen
・ Elementary and junior high school students 700 yen
Opening hours 09:00 – 17:00 (until 19:00 on Fridays)
・ Open every day during the exhibition period
・ Final admission 60 minutes before closing
・ Open at 10:00 on opening day (September 20, 2025)
