Summer of Love

Local DJs and musicians commemorate Aug 6th in their own way at this free outdoor party from dusk until the police shut it down. It has gone until close to dawn in the past, but more
recently, until 12am. The location is behind the site of the old baseball stadium in the area called Hanover Park. Things are generally pretty chill, it’s quite a local affair, but outsiders are very welcome. In recent years, there have been lots of kids running around.

You are free to take along your own drinks and food, but buying a few cans and nibbles from the organizers helps to defray their costs, so you know what to do.
