Tencho-sai Classical Court Dance on Miyajima

Bugaku classical court dances that dates from the late 12th century performed at Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima. The sight of colorful costumes against the backdrop of the sea and the great torii gate is quite something.
The performance starts at 10:00 after shrine ceremonies.
The dances performed are called Enbu, Manzairaku, Engiraku, Ryo-oh, Nasori and Chohgeishi.
¥300 shrine entrance fee required.
