Tanabata Illuminations in Shukkeien

The lawn area in front of the Seifukan tea house in Hiroshima’s Shukkei-en Garden is illuminated by blue LEDs to create a terrestrial Milky Way.
You can also write your Tanabata wishes on colored tanzaku paper strips and hang them in the bamboo tree until July 7.
The garden is open until 9pm and final admission is 8:30pm.
