The Motomachi shoping center and housing complex is near the center of the city. To get there on foot or by bicycle, start at the West side of Hiroshima Castle, facing Central Park. There’s a road that divides the North side of Central Park from the housing complex, and runs straight to the river. Follow that road one block, with the park on your left hand side, and take the first right, heading North, at the Motomachi Hoikuyen. Half-way down that road, on your left, you’ll see the entrance to the Motomachi Shopping Arcade and atrium.

Take either of the ramps leading into the complex, and you’ll pass through an array of shops, some shuttered. Follow the arcade mall to the center, where you’ll discover an open-air atrium. The Alternative CORE Gallery space immediately abuts the center.
