DESCRIPTION:Autumn aki matsuri festival at the historic Shirakami Shrine on the corner of Peace Boulevard and Rijo-dori (opposite NHK Starbucks and next to the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel). \n \nThe festival is held on October 28 and 29 no matter what day of the week those days fall upon\, and in addition to the lively atmosphere\, food and game stalls\, it is a great opportunity to catch live kagura performances on both nights. \nThe kagura starts at 7pm on runs until about 10pm on the 28th and 9:30pm on the 29th. \n\nKagura videos from the 2012 Shirakami Shrine Autumn Festival\nWords and pictures from 2014
