Akira and Akiko opened “Little twitter” in 2001 to promote their own original, hand-made and custom jewlery collections after both had some experience working in different jewelry shops around Hiroshima. Their shop is easy to find along the trendy Namiki-dori street (turn toward Peace boulevard from the covered Hondori at the Starbucks corner) and you can see this cute little shop above the blue and white “Mario dessert” shop.

Walking up the cute little staircase, the cheerful and charming shop welcomes you with so many cool pieces and collections of jewelery. There are silver rings, necklaces like that silver charm necklace, earrings and bracelets. As well as originally crafted leather wallets, purses, card cases and more which are all personally handmade showing the highest quality materials and craftmanship.

Akira, who designs the leather craft work in the store is also an avid long-distance cyclist in his free time. When asked about why they decided to open the shop, he says “Many people wear too much jewelry so sometimes it looks too messy. I prefer wearing something nice and simple. So that’s why we started to introduce our original stuff here for people who have similar thinking about quality jewelery. ”

Akiko, who also designs the jewelry in the shop says “I get a inspiration for designing when I’m riding my motorbike.” … It’s true, she is such a tiny Japanese woman who loves riding such a huge motorcycle- both of the owners are as original as their jewelery- you will surely find some interesting accessories that suit you or if you are looking for a unique gift for a friend.
