Hiroshima’s Top 10 Hanami Spots

Here are the Hiroshima region’s top 10 hanami spots as voted by GetHiroshima readers. Thanks to everyone who took time to click through and make the difficult decision of choosing just one. We didn’t get a huge number of votes, so to those that did can know that their choices carried great influence. The winners will get extra special billing in our guides to the all too fleeting cherry blossom season in 2015.

Tied at number 10 (or number 7) with only one vote each are Hiroshima Castle, Ebayama and Miyajima.

 

Also tied, at number 9 (or 5), with double the votes of those above are Shukkei-en Garden and Peace Pagoda.

 

At number 4 is Central Beach

 

Coming in for the bronze is Hijiyama Park

 

A worthy runner up is Hakushima Kyukencho Park/Kyobashi Riverside
