Sylvanian Families Exhibition
July 8 - September 5
Fans of the anthropomorphic animal figurines will not mind making the trip out the Okuda Genso Sayume Art Museum in Miyoshi to check out this exhibition, the largest ever so far.
If you think the name of the line of toys first produced by Japanese company, Epoch, in 1985 is weird, according to Wikipedia, the original name of the series was Pleasant Friends of the Forest Epoch System Collection Animal Toy Sylvanian Families (森のゆかいな仲間たち エポック社 システム・コレクション・アニマルトーイ・シルバニアファミリー). Quite a mouthful!
Unusual for an exhibition in Japan, visitors are free to take photos.
Couple ticket (male and female): ¥1800
College and high school students: ¥500
Junior high school and younger: Free
