Mt Takeda Hike and Okonomiyaki Party

The GANSU international hiking group finish off the year with a hike up Takeda-yama in Gion. Takeda-yamais easily accessible by train, is of great historical interest and offers great views over the city and
Hiroshima delta.

The hike is followed by an okonomiyaki party.

Meeting Place & Time: JR Shimo-Gion Station, 09:05 (the 8:47 Kabe Line train from Hiroshima JR Station arrives at Shimo-Gion station at 09:03).
Participation Fee: Free of charge. Please remember that the organizer of this hike will not insure the participants of the outing against accidental injuries.
Recommended clothing: Sporty dress, warm clothes, rain gear, snack and beverages. If you are attending the party, bringing lunch is not advised, but lunch will be a bit late, so bringing a snack is a good idea.

Schedule: JR Shimo-Gion station (09:05) – Yasu Shrine (09:20)– Mt. Takeda Summit (11:45) – Okonomiyaki restaurant (13:30)

Sign-up Deadline: Friday, December 7th.
Note: If you would like to join the okonomiyaki party, please try to contact us early as the number of tables is limited. Applicants for the party will be accepted on “first-in, first served” basis.
