Sakura cherry blossoms at Ushita Sogo Koen Park

Ushita Sogo Koen Park has many large, beautiful cherry tress are laden with gorgeous blossoms during sakura season and is a relatively off-the-radar hanami spot behind Higashi-ku Sports Center and Big Wave.

It’s a great place for either a picnic or a walk up to Mitate-yama which has great views over the city.
