Early autumn at Taishaku-kyo

Taishakyu-kyo Gorge near Shobara in the northeast of the prefecture is a very popular spot for enjoying the autumn colors in Hiroshima.

Perhaps due to this year’s never ending summer, the leaves seem to be turning a little later than usual, but Taishaku-kyo is a lovely place to visit at any time and on our visit on October 30, autumn was definitely in the air.
