Autumn leaves at Gokuraku-ji
Autumn is one of the best times of year to visit Gokuraku-ji Temple in Hatsukaichi. [日本語]
Take a look inland as you pass through Hatsukaichi Station on your way to or from Miyajima and you’ll see the imposing mountain of Gokuraku-ji. Accessible by both by car, bus and on foot it’s a lovely place to enjoy the autumn colors without the crowds you’ll find across the water on Miyajima.
