Megumi and Tomoko, chiso-shokudo (stratum diner) and Shotaro, Paa-rii-kenchiku (party architecture) will give us a talk about their life/work styles. They’ve been traveling around Japan where they don’t have particular networks or deep connections. But once they find a place to settle down, establish the network with local people and produce their own projects such as catering, opening a diner, being a farmer, renovating abandoned spaces, etc. How they do that? What’s the first step? Any troubles? This is a rare chance to hear about how the “real nomad” Japanese live. J to E simultaneous interpretation upon request. [DATE] Dec. 12, Tue. 19:00-21:00 [VENUE] 20T (1-1-25-3F, Honkawa-cho) map [FEE] 1500JPY
